Good morning lovelies, or actually good afternoon 😅😂 I had nightmares the entire night and just decided to sleep in. My parents, aka the greatest gift in the world, helped me with my son yesterday and are doing the same today 💗 I got my sleep and I'm feeling good today. Two good days in a row!! I have feeling that this new year's going to be good!😊
We saw a movie last night based on a true story. It's a 2023 movie and the rating according to Imdb is 9.2/10. That's really really high, especially for a Bollywood movie. The name of the movie is "12th Fail".
It's the story of a young man going from extreme poverty, where they're struggling to have enough money for them to eat let alone having other expenses. His father is a man of principals and teaches his children to never give up to always get up after you fall down etc. Well his father being a completely honest man keeps getting fired because they live in an area where thugs rule, the police works for the thugs and every. person with any type of power demands bribes. They take from the poor and fills their own pockets. Well this boy grows of thinking that being smart and just finding a way to make money is the right way. He keeps seeing his dad fail all the while he sees thugs win. One day he and his friend are arrested and the police says that he'll murder one of the boys. He sends Manoj, the boy/main character, to get his grandfathers gun and come and shoot him (the officer) or he'll shot Manojs best friend. At the same time a new deputy has arrived and since he's the boss he shuts downs some of the activity like cheating in schools and taking off bribes when he sees it. Manoj runs to him for help and he helps him save his friend. Seeing an honest man in a position of power gives Manoj hope and he asks this officer if it's possible to reach a position of power even though you're honest. Is there still hope for honest people in this world? The deputy says there is still hope since honesty isn't considered that bad, and if Manoj wants to become like him, the first step is to stop cheating. Study to get ahead!Well before I go through the entire movie, cause it's better if you see it yourself 😋 the thing that makes me going is something my dad always said. You will never have comfort or reach your dreams unless you fight for it. Some people are fast learners and some have to put in more effort, but the main part is that no dream is impossible unless you make it impossible. The movie was about that, how a boy from nowhere with no resources or help does his best to reach his goals. He dips his head in cold water just to stay awake, he works 15hour shift and spends the rest of the time studying, he doesn't sleep more then 3 hours.
So now it's my turn to do my best. I won't let my bipolar stop me, I will continue fighting like I've always done and prove to myself that my will is stronger!!
So happy new year, stay strong, stay happy and don't let your diagnosis define. you, keep fighting for who you are, I am me and I am bipolar. I am both and that means that I'm a fighter 2 times over!
